Printing Tips
Typically use PDF for printing at home. Be sure to note that the colors look very vibrant, crisp, and rich on your computer screen. However, printing quality varies depending on the type of paper, printer etc. Colorful graphics may appear dull on standards writing paper.
Note whether you want to print on standards writing paper, or photo paper. There are many options to consider. You can always experiment with a variety of selections.
If you want to use a professional printing service (such as Vistaprint), you will use the images in the “zipped” folder so that you can download the images in a PNG format. In most cases you cannot upload a PDF file to these companies. They accept JPEG or PNG.

The images are cropped to a paper size of 8.5″X11.”
This is the size for printing at home or the library, and using the paper as part of a journal, worksheet, planner, letterhead etc.

The photo mock ups are meant to give insight into how certain designs may look in decoration settings. Thus, the cropping, photo dimensions, and details of the photos may not be precise in some of the mock ups.
Your checklist. Before placing your order, make sure you:
✔Understand what a digital file is
✔Understand the different formats of digital files such as PNG, PDF, and JPEG
✔Know how to download the files
✔Understand where to store the files on your computer
✔Understand how to “unzip” the digital folder that these images come in
✔Are able to open PDF files
✔Know how to upload a PNG or JPEG to a print company (such as Vista Print)
✔Have your home printer in sync with your computer
✔Have someone to help you in person if you need it
