Some famous black cats in history include Sylvester, Felix the Cat, Snowball II, Oscar the Bionic Cat, Mr. Mistoffelees, and Salem. And I must give a very special acknowledgement of Luna, from Sailor Moon.
My husband is a tremendous Sailor Moon fan and writer, and so he named our black cat Luna. (We took Luna in, in 2019).
