Yes, cats can eat pumpkin; however there are some important guidelines to follow. No matter what they can eat, we must always remember that their digestive system and body in general, is much different from ours. Vitamins A and C help support their vision and immune system. Zinc is beneficial to their fur coats. Due to their fiber content, some veterinarians suggest pumpkin as a way to alleviate a cat’s constipation or help with other GI issues.
